1. 癌細胞轉移是面對癌症一個重要課題,許多機制參與其中。本實驗室一個重要主題為GCIP抑癌蛋白如何在細胞中抑制癌化並抑制癌細胞轉移,本實驗室已透過cDNA microarray方式大量篩選與此抑癌基因蛋白有關聯的基因表現,在肺癌與胃癌的主題上做深入的分子層探討。
  2. 本實驗室與長期合作夥伴共同進行小分子抗癌藥物篩選,如利用生物資訊與電腦模擬方式,建立篩選平台,以多種人類不同癌細胞篩選有效抗癌藥物及多種有效組合,並進一步探討抗癌機制。
  3. 透過Ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS)之蛋白降解機制是維持細胞恆定與正常生理功能之重要機制,許多癌症之發生是因為此系統發生變異,導致正常細胞走向癌化。蛋白降解途徑與細胞癌化之關聯為本實驗室重要研究主題
